Free and paid
The facts are free. What you pay for is the reading.
Every Form C is a public document. We put the figures from each one on this site for anyone to use, with the source named beside each number. The paid briefing is the part that takes time: reading the filings, finding which of our checks fired, and quoting the sentence that fired them, so you can review the results in minutes instead of reading every filing.
Free
- A page for every offering on this site. The company's Form C figures, each labelled with its source, and links to the filing on SEC EDGAR. Each page states the date its data was gathered.
- The free weekly briefing by email (starting soon). The new Form C filings of the week, with figures and links, plus one filing read in full, with its checks shown, as a sample of what the paid briefing does.
- Our method. The Methodology page explains every check we run. You can run them yourself on any filing.
Free means you do the reading. Nothing in the filing facts is held back.
Paid briefing (when it opens)
The checks are document flags for your own reading, not scores, ratings or buy or sell views.
- Every check that fired, each week. For every new and updated Form C filing that week, the checks that fired: going-concern language, related-party language, losses in both years, cash under one year of losses, debt above assets, and the rest of the checks on our Methodology page.
- The sentence, not just the label. For each language check we quote the sentence from the filing that fired it and link the filing, so you can read the context yourself.
- The Quiet Raise list. Companies that showed progress on a raise but have no annual report on EDGAR. A company is named only after the four steps on our Methodology page, including a chance to reply. A listing is a document-status flag, not a claim of misconduct.
- Read it signed in. We plan to email you when each briefing is ready, for you to read signed in to your subscription. We will confirm how delivery works on this page before the paid briefing goes on sale.
A check that fired means "read this part of the filing closely." It is a match in the company's own filing, not a finding of wrongdoing, and it is not a judgment about how the company will do. The paid briefing is the same for every subscriber. It is research, not investment advice.
The paid briefing is not open for purchase yet. Subscribe free and we will tell you when it opens.
